TITLE: Regional Operations Director

LOCATION: 202 Winslow St, Middlebury, IN 46540

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Operations – Commercial Services Division

EMPLOYEE:

POSITION SUMMARY:
GO Riteway is looking for a detail orientated Operations Director with a high standard for service quality to manage and grow our Indiana and Michigan locations. This individual will have full P&L responsibilities and lead commercial sales and operational activities in this region, ensuring the business runs efficiently and profitably.
The Operations Director will be responsible for establishing and developing strategies that contribute to safe, on-time, and consistent service to all customers. The role is responsible for ensuring that the business remains in compliance with federal, state, and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements regarding safety.
The position will play a pivotal role in the growth and development of GO Riteway by cultivating new business and increasing GO Riteway’s visibility in the region. The Operations Director will develop sales growth initiatives with senior sales staff and lead the successful execution of these strategies.

MANAGMENT ROLES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
  • Work cohesively with Michigan and Indiana operation’s teams to ensure consistent process execution; including customer service management, contract management, efficient scheduling, fleet and driver optimization, etc.
  • Drive accountability of the management teams toward the improvement of sales metrics: quote to charter conversion, new business development, new services to existing customers, contract proposal development, etc.
  • Monitor resource utilization and provide updates to key metrics to serve as success benchmarks
  • Work closely with corporate leaders on strategy and execution of key initiatives, while driving a culture of employee development and retention
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the GO Riteway’s expectations as it pertains to interactions with customers, colleagues, direct reports, and vendors.
  • Manage regional vendor relationships
  • Collaborate with regional maintenance management to ensure timely vehicle maintenance and reduce overall down-time
  • Direct Sales Responsibilities
    • Sales expansion through new business and existing account development
    • Develop and implement regional pricing strategies
    • Drive strategic growth by assessing new regional facility opportunities
    • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with key customers

  • Education and Training: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience: Possesses over 8 years of proven experience in sales management.
